MANIK THAPAR, FOUNDER & CEO

Manik Thapar is one of the pioneers of waste management industry in India. His work has been published extensively in the media in India and abroad and is known for his unique business model in the field of waste management. Manik Thapar is a Canadian Citizen with Indian origin. Having done his MBA from The De Vos School of Management, Michigan, he moved to India in 2005. Inspired by the idea of setting up a waste management company in India, which came from a school project; Manik at the age of 23 decided to enter the challenging industry despite initial difficulties and opposition from friends and family. His efforts bore fruit as people started acknowledging his work and in just three years he became a true youth icon. Currently, EcoWise is treating around 10 tons of waste on a daily basis through composting and recycling methods. Last year, his company managed to divert 5000 tons of waste from ending up in landfill site out of which 3250 tons was composted and 1250 tons was recycled. Manik’s long-term vision for the company is to generate electricity from waste and to divert 100 per cent of the waste collected from ending up in landfill site by 2020.

IMRAN MALIK, OPERATIONS MANAGER

Imran, a graduate from CCS University Meerut, has over 7 years of experience in the field of waste management and has direct control over the total field operations. Imran has the practical knowledge of the nuisances of the business environment. What adds to his charisma is his never-say-die attitude and his dream to see the business grow and reach new heights.

ANSHU SINGH, CHIEF ACCOUNTANT

Anshu is a Commerce graduate from Delhi University and one of the oldest employees in the company. She oversees the financial transactions and keeps everyone on their toes to do a good job. She is efficient and hard-working with a very pleasant personality; her problem solving skills are commendable.

PARUL SHARMA, CUSTOMER RELATION SERVICE

Parul Sharma is Post Graduate,with four of hard core experience in the field of Customer Service.She is dedicated to providing the most efficient and quality service to our customers.Parul handles Customer quaries and insures that all customer requests are handled efficient and timely manner.
